    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is a very challenging class. It requires a lot of time and effort, but if you pay attention in lectures and do the homeworks you should be ok. Overall good class, just difficult at times.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics and fundamentals of programming as well as how to use an Arduino microcomputer. The best part of the class was probably the professor. He was funny and witty and always happy to answer any questions asked.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you plan on taking this class, always start the homework in advance. If you get stuck or have questions you can always ask your professor or your TA. It will probably happen at least once.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I didn't have previous programming experience before taking this class. This class definitely eased me into matlab and the basics of programming.

    Course highlights:

We used an Arduino board in this class as well. We executed code that would make motors attached to the Arduino board spin. We used code to light light bulbs on the Arduino. It was so interesting!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Even when a homework assignment seems tough, break the problem into pieces and keep at it. Making code work is such an amazing feeling and its worth the few hours of frustration it took to get there.
