    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The curriculum was completely re-written. The only people who can help outside of lecture are the TA's. Use code academy or some other program to give yourself a back round in python before you take this course.

    Course highlights:

It is difficult to learn the material in this course. Teach yourself as much as you can prior to taking the course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Teach yourself python using code academy before taking this course. The people who do well are people who already have a back round in programming.

    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was an introduction class to the Computer Science major.

    Course highlights:

I got to learn my first programming language MatLab. I also learned about arduino.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this class instead of CSE1729. It is pretty easy and you learn a somewhat useful programming language.
