    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it's so easy to do well. Everything that is on the exams is expected to be there, because all you have to do is memorize the lecture notes.

    Course highlights:

Professor fry always cracks jokes. Also, the course is all memorization so you don't learn too much, but you learn good study skills.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Memorize the lectures a little bit every day.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is great for students who require a biology course for their major, but don't necessarily need an extensive knowledge of biology to succeed in their major. The class is essentially ALL memorization. It runs at a pretty quick pace, but if you study your material regularly, it is easy to do well. I would not recommend the course for students who actually need knowledge of concepts in bio to do well in other major-specific courses.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the labs I did. The labs were actually very helpful in understanding the material in the lecture, and the instructors were very fun to work with. I improved my understanding of basic concepts in bio. I knew most of the topics covered from high school AP bio, but the class went a little deeper and helped refresh my memory.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pace your studying and GO TO LECTURE! There is no textbook in this class, so the only way to get the information you need is to go to class and fill out the outline he gives each class. Studying for the exams is very straightforward. I would suggest using flashcards (quizlet is a good resource) and finding some people to review with. There is a lot of material on each exam, so be sure to start studying ahead of time!
