    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is an introductory to biology course, which non science majors take. This class was a bit difficult but even more difficult with professor Yarish. So, if you have the opportunity with another professor i would suggest that.

    Course highlights:

In this course we learned different things such as: genetics, about the human body, ecological systems and more.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read, read, read!!! It is so important to read in this course because there is a lot of difficult material that might take multiple times of repetition to memorize it. It helps a lot to read the chapter before the class lectures to reinforce and familiarize yourself with the material!

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was a great course if you're looking to take a fast-paced class that will get your gened requirement out of the way and have a basic understanding of biology. I rated it 3 stars because it's very hard, and if you're not willing to study for the tests and show up to every class, then it's not even worth registering for.

    Course highlights:

Mostly, I just took it to finish my geneds, but I ended up learning a lot. He doesn't teach you a lot of things that are completely useless in "real life" which I appreciated. Learning about diabetes and cancer was sad but interesting, because they're things you see in the world all the time.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be me! Take the time to work at this course outside of class time. I worked on it when I had to, and even then, it wasn't much. If you do that and utilize the professor (who is super enthusiastic) then you'll do great.

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it's so easy to do well. Everything that is on the exams is expected to be there, because all you have to do is memorize the lecture notes.

    Course highlights:

Professor fry always cracks jokes. Also, the course is all memorization so you don't learn too much, but you learn good study skills.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Memorize the lectures a little bit every day.
