    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a great introductory course that will give you a lot of knowledge on many different species of animals like physiological and care aspects. This class also gives insight into the meat, dairy, and egg industries and how important the use of animals are to humans.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course is getting hands-on experience with an animal.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise you to do all the practice tests Dr. Darre gives before a test and to always ask Dr. Darre questions if you do not understand something. I also found it helpful to study with a small group of classmates/friends.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was very informative and helpful for students interested in animal science. He is a great teacher, and you will learn a lot.

    Course highlights:

This course is great since you get a lot of hands-on experience with the animals here at Uconn. I've personally hadn't had much experience before this class, but I now feel like I know more on animals and their needs because of it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to do the labs and to study the practice exam he will give you. It is very helpful!
