    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Peta goes FAST! but the material that he covers is not particularly difficult. Pay attention, go to class and you will be able to get an A in the class. The exams are open books open notes, but you still have to know the material otherwise you will be lost.

    Course highlights:

Depending on your field statistics might not be the best class to take. To finish your MBA at uconn you have to take it and Peta is the best proffesor for the course. He has over 30 years teaching the class and his methods work. I learned how to find probabilities for pretty much every situation. Then again that is what statitics are.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not miss class. He goes so fast and he does not use the book. His exams are based on his lectures. Hand in the hw. Those are free points that in that class you wont be able to afford. There are 3 exams, expect to take a lot of notes. But remember, open book open notes. Im getting an A in the class and i hated statistics. He is a wonderful teacher

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although the class was a requirement, I would recommend it anyway, because statistics tells the story of how relevant certain data is when approaching data collection for research purposes. It is a universal language that is applied to any kind of business.

    Course highlights:

Understanding confidence intervals, standard deviations and most importantly outliers is an important skill to have when analyzing approaches to businesses.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Use coursehero.com to get the step by step answers to the homework so you will be thoroughly prepared for the exams, and take your time with each step.
