Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because, unlike most math classes, you can see a clear real-world application for statistics. It is a really fun and engaging class that teaches about real-world problem and the best ways to think about life choices.

    Course highlights:

The best part of this class, for me, was that it taught me better ways to search for colleges. It taught me how to look at the statistics given by colleges and how to analyze them in order to pick the best one. AP Stats was a lot of fun because I had a great teacher that engaged his students in learning, even when it wasn't the most exciting day, and he always connected what we were learning to life in order to help us in the future.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is to read the statistics book given to you because, not only will it help you advance in the class, it will help on the AP test. Also, you can't slack off in the class, even though it is not the hardest class you still have to be engaged in order to retain the information for the test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Not only did math become fun for me in this class, I learned valuable information that I will use throughout my entire life.

    Course highlights:

In AP Statistics I learned how to gather information and properly analyse information. With this knowledge I am able to make more informed decisions in my everyday life. The education I received in AP Statistics has helped me to choose the right car to buy, the right school for me, and most importantly, the career I want to pursue.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook on the nights reading is assigned. The book truly does help and for a math book it was pretty entertaining.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it to someone that enjoys gathering and analyzing data numerically and graphically and then applies it to draw conclusions.

    Course highlights:

The highligh for me was that it is interesting to come up with different conclusions and case scenarios for different groups and how we came up with those conclusions.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise them to only take this class if the love working with numbers and love coming up with many conclusions to problems.
