Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking PSY 101 (intro to Psych) because it helps you understand the basic functions of the brain and how the different parts communicate with each other. It truly is very helpful if you are thinking about majoring in scientific psychology. Keep in mind that it requires a lot of studying! but its worth it because it is information you will be interested in.

    Course highlights:

Overall this class is one of my favorites! My professor understood that the subject matter isn't the easiest so she was very helpful when questions were asked before, during, and after class. I learned a lot about how the brain works which was the base information you need to understand the rest of the subject matter for the class.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice that i would give is to be to STUDY STUDY STUDY, this subject matter in this class isn't easy to grasp so you have to put forth the effort to make sure you fully comprehend all of the information. I would recommend you actually read your textbook and take effective notes. When it comes to note taking i would suggest you take hand written notes, do not use your computer or iPad or any electronic devices. The information will soak in better if you hand writing because you actually have to focus on the information that you are being given. Make use of the office hours, remember that your teachers are there to help you so don't be afraid to get help.
