    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because everyday there is something new and exciting to learn in the realm of cognitive processes. Mr. Penberthy is an incredible teacher who focuses greatly on his students success.

    Course highlights:

While taking AP Psychology, I learned why people act and react the way they do and how their cognitive processes are determined. The best part of this course for me was learning about different types of experiments; specific ones that have occurred and what they have done for us and the subject.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you understand what is going on the course as it goes on. Don't let anything slip past you because all the information is crucial.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this because the way that Mr.Penberthy teaches you this course, does not bore you like other courses, on the other hand it keeps you very interested, especially in the different studies.

    Course highlights:

I loved the different studies. The asch study was my favorite, and it had to due with group conformity. I really related to that study very much, and it was the most important piece of information that I have been taught. I especially had to tie this study with the bidirectional model.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book, is the most important thing. If you do not take time to read the book that is given to you, you will not be able to understand much.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Penberthy is a great, entertaining, and thorough teacher of AP Psychology. I felt very prepared in taking the AP exam and was well rehearsed in the types of questions AP had asked.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course is definitely Mr. Penberthy! He teaches in an animate, exciting way. He interacts with the students and teaches the curriculum for ultimate understanding of the course material.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Always study for an AP course you do! Standardized testing will always be a little different from the classroom. The teacher lays the platform in order to understand the information, it is your job to study it.
