    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it brought up topics that are very important for college students to discuss. Examples are religion, family life and gender.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course were the multiple discussions the class had about the experiences each student had regarding the topic of the day. Another highlight was the group project we had to do about social norms.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This course does not require a lot of reading. However, you will have a few papers due that are only a page. I suggest doing these in advance and not waiting until the last minute to start them.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

While I signed up for this class solely because I was required to, I found that I actually quite enjoyed this class. This isn't a class that requires you to do work and memorize terms. Rather, this course makes you think about things concerning our society that we as teenagers don't really think about.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was definitely the class discussions that would arise. The topics which are taught are things that we all have some opinions on, and in a class with over a hundred other students, there are bound to be some differing opinions. I quite enjoyed listening to other people views on this and listening to their reasoning. Another thing I enjoyed about this class were the videos that we got to watch. The social experiment videos were quite interesting to watch, such as the Prisoner and Policer experiment conducted in England. The results were quite shocking.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have to write Reaction Papers, start them earlier. Doing these at the last minute can definitely get stressful, especially considering the last few are do right around when finals will begin. Also, don't be afraid to jump into the discussions! They can get quite interesting.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this class because it is very interesting. Dr. Padilla is an awesome instructor and very passionate about his job.

    Course highlights:

I learned about sociology of course, but you got to get a better understanding of the way society works together. How we never have a true self, we have different kinds of selves.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say to definitely study! Use note cards and listen to instrumental music.
