    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course, however very challenging, was also extremely rewarding. The ability of Doctor Parker to show the real meaning of international trade is uncanny. He is brilliant and he makes the course work come alive!

    Course highlights:

This course provided me with the knowledge how how international trade works. Dr. Parker taught me how exchange rates fluctuate, how international savings flow between countries, how trade deals can make certain countries better off while making another worse off, how those same trade deals could be adjusted to make both countries better off, and the importance of externalities in economics.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you take this course make sure that you are prepared for a tough semester. There is not a ton of homework but his test and quizzes are pretty tough and worth a lot. Make sure if you do not understand something that you go and seek him out in his office hours, he is very helpful one on one. Overall, just stay on top of it and ask questions and you should be fine!
