    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

For science majors it is required to take this class, especially for premedical students. But not only should you take this for the credit but for the understanding of how all these molecules we learn in general chemistry work in the real world with hydrocarbons.

    Course highlights:

I came into this class with the mentality that it was super hard, and it was but it was manageable. With a lot of studying, and office hours of my professor I was able to receive a good grade. I learned more sterochemistry that I did not learn in gen chem. I also learned way more about alcohols than I ever thought I would ever know. We expand on the basic concepts of bases and acids.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would strongly recommend going to every lecture. If you miss one lecture,m you will already be behind and it is tough to learn the material yourself. I would also recommend studying for the exams way beyond the night before, learning all the reactions, mechanisms, and synthesis are not something you learn over night.
