Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Groves was awesome! She really helped to prepare me for the corporate environment by running her class like an office meeting. She takes genuine interest in her students and we have kept in touch even after I graduated.

    Course highlights:

One key takeaway I still remember from this course is that less is more. Professor Groves used to always stress to say what you can in as little words as possible. Now that I’m in the corporate world, I really appreciate this because as a frequent recipient of e-mails I’d much rather receive a short e-mail to a long e-mail with identical talking points.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend taking this course your last semester as an undergraduate. This class really helps to prepare you for business writing and helps to get you out of the mindset of writing essays. Rather than minimum page lengths, many of the assignments actually have maximum limits to keep communication short, sweet, and to the point.
