    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The professor really understands the subject well; his teaching method is effective with tons of examples and explains the material in simple terms to help us comprehend.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about Calculus in this course than in my other calculus classes beforehand.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework and review it, as it helps immensely on exams. Take some good notes and review them as well.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He allows a 1 page sheet of notes on the exams, no quizzes and lots of online homework. He does not post notes online but I would recommend him because he allows everyone a chance to ask questions.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to do Linearization (great for estimating) and I learned to take additional notes and ask questions while in class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Ask lots of questions, go to review sessions at the math tutoring center and create your cheat sheet for every section.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this course, mainly because the professor was not ideal. I could barely understand his lectures, and he would get annoyed that no one would ask him questions, yet would then get frustrated at anyone that would ask him a question. This in turn led to a loop of the class not learning anything, and then us all collectively bombing the tests. I was so happy when I could finally leave that class with a low B.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was that everyone else was struggling through it with you. You didn't have to get frustrated thinking that you're the only one that doesn't get it, because no one was getting it. It was also nice because the attendence dropped significantly as the year progressed, so finding a seat was never a problem.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The only tips I have for this course with this professor, is to form a study group and try to work through the material together and to try to at least look at your notes once a day.
