    | Would highly recommend.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    I learned about people first language and the importance of fairness in the classroom. I experienced 24hrs with a disability & it helped open my eyes to the struggles the rest of the world sometimes does not see.

    Course highlights:

    I learned what it was like to be a person with a disability in a general ed classroom & how to become a fair, motivational teacher. I learned that every person has a preferred learning style & how I as the teacher, needs to incorporate all learning styles to allow all children to succeed.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Go into this class with an open mind & a readiness to learn a lot! You will experience what it will be like to have a learning disability as well as strengthening your teaching skills.
