    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a challenging course, but if you want to pursue a career in the medical field, it's something you should learn.

    Course highlights:

I learned about all the types of bacteria that can cause the disease epidemics, such as E. Coli, the Plague, etc. It was also interesting to learn about the antibiotics that can treat certain bacterial illnesses.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Go over your notes immediately after the lecture, then look through the book to fill in any questions you have or to understand something, then go through your notes again a few hours later. Repetition is key!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was enlightening and quite interesting! The lab component was difficult at times, but absolutely manageable.

    Course highlights:

For me the greatest highlight of this course was learning more about immunology. I love learning about how our bodies operate and I was extremely interested during this portion of the course.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not cram the night before exams. Simply read over your notes after every class and complete the study guides she gives out. Make sure you understand all of the information on the study guides.
