    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because Kristin is a passionate, fair, intelligent, and helpful Instructor. She is clear about her expectations and will put in extra work for students who work hard.

    Course highlights:

In this course the student learns thermodynamics, basic circuits, basics of electricity, and magnetism. Though all of the topics were fairly well covered, I learned the most about circuits and the least about magnetism.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course you must do the homework for yourself. If you try to use Chegg, or answers from a friend you will see the reflection on your exam scores. Also, pay attention in lecture and ask questions! Kristin is happy to spend time answering questions and explaining concepts as long as they are questions that are relevant to the current material being covered.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it for all engineers because it is required for every engineer.

    Course highlights:

I learned that friends are the best part of each course so socialize and they will make great study groups. Penkas videos were the best part of the whole course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study groups with friends. They are comfortable and you feel at home with the comfort to learn.
