Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love anatomy- the class is very structured and not extremely difficult. It is well taught and informative. It is not a class that you can learn to the test, the knowledge carries over unit to unit and actually applies to reality.

    Course highlights:

I learned, obviously, about the human body, but I also learned a lot about why certain events occur within the body. For example, I learned why some people sweat more than others or why some teenagers are genetically prone to acne. The highlight has been discovering why I break out and how to prevent it.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would find a memorization technique that works for you very early on. The class is heavily based on memorization.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is so super informative! The material you learn is actually applicable to ones life in the future. Dr. Burgwald's passion for what she does is contagious and makes learning in her class fun and understandable.

    Course highlights:

Some of my favorite material and labs we did in this class were of the following: finding out our blood type in the blood typing lab, learning about the brain and all of its parts and getting to dissect a real sheep's brain, and lastly dissecting the cat at the end of the year and getting the chance to apply all of the material we have learned throughput the year.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering this course, you should have some sort of interest in wanting to go into the medical field when you are older. Having an interest in the field makes the course even more enjoyable! Also do not be opposed to seeing "gross pictures" we get shown pictures of diseases that apply to the subject we just learned at the end of every chapter. Lastly have FUNNN!!! This course is so much more impacting when you enjoy what you are doing in class.
