Make sure you read and do your homework or else you will be lost on FRQs and tests.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Economy is a required course to graduate so you have to take it. I'm not going to lie, I've fallen asleep countless times and tried holding my eyes open. I swear, I've never fallen asleep during a lecture before. Some quizzes that we take are online quizzes that you can take at home so those are really nice because you can use your notes or peers.

    Course highlights:

There are group interactive "games"/assignments we did and those are fun and competitive. I learned about different types of markets, how/why people make decisions, how profit can be made.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Throughout the course you will see different types of graphs so I suggest drawing them in your notes and a separate section of your notebook and take notes off to the side explaining each one. It'll help you on the AP test. Read your book. There are several questions on test and quizzes asking things that you may overlook while reading just because you think it's an insignificant detail. You might want to put post-its in each page you want to highlight/focus on. Mr. Shubert will often call on your name to answer a question and its not as bad as you may think. Do your work because the questions he asks are in the work that should've been done. If you don't know, guess. He will direct you to the right answer or call on another. It will be a problem if you come up blank.
