    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although many people think of Calculus as being a hard course (which it definitely is), Mrs. Barber is really willing to be patient and allow people to ask questions and come in after class. Also, the class is mainly about patterns and connections - once everything clicks, the class comes much more naturally.

    Course highlights:

I learned the importance of paying attention to each lesson and not letting things slip me by! Each step was important along the path to understanding. You mostly learn about a lot of derivatives and integrals.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you understand everything. If you don't, ask for extra help from the teacher or a friend in the class or others that succeeded before you.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is very challenging but Mr.P is an amazing teacher and really makes you fell like you can actually conquer the beast known as Calculus.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were all of the fun times with Mr. P there are just too many to even list. I learned everything that i know now about calculus and I knew nothing before so you get to learn tons.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you always do your homework and study before tests and quizes, that means always look at the notes and always do problems before the tests and quizes.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class will test you but it never gives out pointless work. If you want a deep understanding of calculus topics before heading into college nothing can beat AP Calculus taught by Mr. Belby. You will dive deeper than the base topics as you explore the material at a very low level and build up to understanding the calculus.

    Course highlights:

This class teaches differential calculus and integration calculus for entry level college courses. You will apply material to real life problems and examples to show how there is mathematics all around us.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In this course you cannot be afraid to ask questions. I have always been good at math but some concepts that were presented are difficult to understand. It is always better to ask the teacher and understand fully than to act as if you understand what you are doing because the tests are very difficult.
