    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course as it is an introductory level to biology in college.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course included that of DNA replication, cell signaling, cellular respiration and photosynthesis.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook because it really aids in understanding of difficult topics

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Roy Richardson is an okay professor but he just reads off of his slides. It is pointless to attend lectures even though I have attended all of the lectures. Hw expects a student to know the material from him just reading off of the slides.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights of the class is he is not that bad of a person. He offers plenty of office hours and he will go over what you need help with. I learned about the cellular levels of biology including mitosis, meiosis, central dogma and the organelles of the cells.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

some advice I have is attend lectures and do the homework. He does clicker questions all the time during lecture and homework counts towards the course grade. The homework does relate to what you are learning in class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Not too hard, its great for science majors, and the work load is totally manageable.

    Course highlights:

Everything on the molecular/cellular level is broken down. LOTS of clicker questions, but those are actually fun and a great way to earn points.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do the launchpad work and pay attention to slides in class for clicker questions
