Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course because who wouldn't want to learn about the beaches and the coastlines? This class was overall so much fun to go to every morning. I learned so many neat and interesting facts about the beach that I didn't know before. Anyone who likes going to the ocean and likes learning interesting fun facts should take this class.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was in my opinion the field drip I got to take. There were two options, Great Bay and Hampton. I chose to go to Hampton. We spent half of the day traveling around Hampton and the surrounding parts of the beaches near it. During this, we learned about the tides, jetties, sea walls, Great Boar's Head, and so much more. We even got to see (from afar) the nuclear power plant that is in Hampton.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is to go to every class and if you have to miss one, make sure you look at the power point posted online and get notes from a friend as well. Also, the professor does review power points before each test so make sure you go online and print out the power point so you can fill in notes directly on the slides instead of having to rewrite everything. It saves time!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is very interesting and you learn a lot. It is not boring at all and you always feel engaged. The teacher is awesome and test are manageable with studying.

    Course highlights:

The field trip and recitations. You learn about how ocean movements occur and what affect they have on shorelines and the coast in general.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the worksheets he gives you and actually go through them. The test is based a lot off of what the questions on the worksheets. Go through the review power point before the test as well.
