    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is super fun. I was terrified of chemistry going into this course, but my professor made it a very versatile, accommodating learning environment.

    Course highlights:

The most important thing I learned outside of buffer systems and thermochemistry was study skills. For every exam, I sat down in the library the weekend prior and dedicated myself to practice exams, problem sets, and notes. I was thorough and studied until I knew the material like the back of my hand. By over-studying, I was totally prepared for the exams and eliminated the extraneous loss of points due to nerves. It also helped to keep in contact with my professor. I told him my hope was to get an A for the class and he always was willing to offer advice and clarify my questions and concerns.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Attack the material head-on. It's easy to complicate the material if you lose concentration or will to learn it, but if you stay on track it's straight forward and really interesting.
