Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I would recommend this course to anyone interested specifically in genetics and gene regulation as it is the most throughout course on the subject.
One highlight was the lab portion of the course. There is one main research project carried through from start (creating transposon mutagens) to finish (using BLAST to find out where the sequence was inserted). The students performed all of the work, and while it was challenging, the hands-on aspect made it an invaluable opportunity to learn techniques used in benchwork scientific research.

Advice for students:
Read the book, study the quizzes, and try to figure out how different topics taught in the course relate to each other (for the exams)
