Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend taking this course. At times, it was a lot of work, but it was worth it in the end. Mrs. Scully's teaching styles helped me remember the information, and with her hard work and mine, I passed the AP exam.

    Course highlights:

In this course, we went deep into the history of the United States. I learned things about our country that I never thought I would learn. I liked how we had a lot of discussions, because in some classes it is just the teacher lecturing which can get boring. Mrs. Scully made sure everyone was involved so that we would all retain the information and pass the exam.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework every night if you want to have a good grade. Make sure you read the assigned pages every night and take notes. Don't fall asleep in class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is challenging. It really teaches you how to think in college like situations. Not only that, but it also teaches you how to manage your time with rigorous courses, especially when you have a busy schedule outside of school.

    Course highlights:

I have learned how to better manage my time. I have learned how to take fast, through notes that I can understand. It gave me an insight into what college really does. And after the course, I had two more years to work on that way of thinking and working.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Read, read, read. Make sure to always take notes. Be prepared to write fast, but take notes you can understand.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

You learn a lot of college material in US History, at a high school pace. My teacher was able to thoroughly explain concepts to us and gave various learning activities, not just lectures.

    Course highlights:

-Concepts of American Revolution -Beginning stages of America -overall American history

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your nightly readings! Readings are one of the stronges ways we learn in this class.
