Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's easier than biology because there is less memorization and is great for people who aren't planning on going into the science fields.

    Course highlights:

I learned about minerals and different kinds of rocks and how to identify them. I also learned about faults, continental drift, how sinkholes and rivers are formed, how the weather works, and how the universe was born.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study a lot. Even though it is a lot easier than Biology, you still need to know what you are talking about. Your online tests are your ticket for a good grade because they are open book. Do not neglect your homework because she puts a lot of weight on them. Don't worry if you bomb a test. Whitcomb knows that some people aren't good test takers so she puts more grading weight on the homework and class experiments.
