    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a very difficult class, without a doubt. However, the teacher does a very good job engaging the class and I am definitely learning a lot. It takes a lot of work, but I have met some great people as a result.

    Course highlights:

I love learning something extremely difficult. We learn about the topic of organic chemistry - how mechanisms work to achieve certain things in the lab. We learn what our bodies consist of and how things operate the way they operate.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard. Study with friends. Read the book. But most importantly, do a lot of problems. It's not a memorization class. It's more of a puzzle solving class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Very intellectually stimulating. Forces you to think outside the box

    Course highlights:

Learning so many cool reactions and understanding how it connects with everything you learned in orgo 1 is a truly amazing experience

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

DO PROBLEMS!!! the textbook problems are your best friend in this course. They are the only way to be successful in the course. Also don't attempt the problem and then just look at the answer key. Make sure you have given each problem at least a good 5-10 mins (some require even more!!) of your time and effort. Also before looking at the key, even try it with a friend. Sometimes working with someone else helps get those "thinking juices" flowing
