Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learned so much in this class about slavery, much beyond the typical history taught in schools. It really made me rethink America and our history not only with Black Americans but with Native Americans as well.

    Course highlights:

Highlights was learning how slavery in America evolved into chattle slavery. It was also really interesting how different settlers used and treated slaves (ie French v. Spanish v. English)

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings. You only have one per class, so just do it. Or form a study group where you take turns doing the readings and creating group notes.
