    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is an easy A for those who put in the work. Pay attention during class: take notes and ask questions. Dr. Dyer is great about giving you all the information you need for the tests. She posts the key terms online, but not the powerpoint (which is why taking notes is so important). She makes the information comprehendible and interesting.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Dyer makes learning history enjoyable. She doesn't make you memorize dates or random one-line facts. Instead she focuses on the overall idea/general concept in a way that connects everything in the course together.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go in to see her during office hours before the test if you have any questions/missed a class. I cannot stress enough how important it is to take notes during class. If you take notes and pay attention to the lecture/powerpoint, studying will be so much easier (plus, she only tests you on what was covered in class). I highly recommend writing down her "test question" hints. She only gives 4 tests that are all multiple choice and only 50 questions each. The tests are easy if you go over your notes but don't expect to get an A if you don't pay attention and don't study at all.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I strongly recommend this course due to the plentiful information that broadens your intelligence upon many events that have occurred throughout American History. Displaying the factors that seem insignificant in today’s society had once contributed largely to previous historical events.

    Course highlights:

I personally learned many interesting things throughout this course, more about World War II would have to be my favorite. Being enlightened by the many factors that created the largely known title of World War II. Learning the reasons for its occurrence and its aftermath is extremely fascinating.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Considering that history is one of my poorer subjects, I strongly recommend creating a study group. This will allow discussion and clarity to the many events, small details, and contributions to the historic events. Conversing with other students will aid in retaining all the plentiful amount of information.
