Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was very well structured and understandable. However the lectures were difficult because she didn't write much in the board except for key words and small examples. However, she gives a lot of chances to improve your grade and do your research requirement.

    Course highlights:

She gave us in depth six page study guides to study for the tests with and went over it all with us. We also had short answer questions and she would mark them in bold on the study guide so we knew which ones to study more in depth.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to listen and don't fall asleep in the back because you will miss something and you won't be able to catch yourself up because there's nothing written on the board you understand.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course to someone who wants to know the basics of Psychology. Considering this is an Introductory class, the lectures do not go that deep into the topics. Though, Khoo does teach concepts that are extremely interesting and thought provoking. He only gave one homework assignment throughout the semester and it was about 10 questions (easy!). He also gave the option of extra credit which was participating in research studies given from one of the higher Psychology classes. Lastly, he gave quizzes on every chapter but, in the long run it helped your grade significantly if you did poor on one quiz. Overall, the class was well worth it!

    Course highlights:

From taking this course, I have learned 'things' about the mind that I did not even know existed. Though, learning about the different types of Psychology disorders and how the brain processed with these conditions was a topic that interested me the most. Since psychology was not popular in my high school, I believe that this was a course that has helped me understand how the mind works a little bit more than I was aware of.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely get the textbook! His quizzes and tests were mostly taken from the quizzes in each chapter. Reading the chapter, notes, and quizzing yourself helps in the long run in this class. I also made flash cards for vocabulary words since there are a quite a few and it helped me grasp the concepts better!
