Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you're someone interested in pursuing psychology as a career, then learning about the different mental disorders and touching upon diagnostic criteria is going to help you in the future understand how to best assist future patients. You may even learn about a disorder you never heard about before.

    Course highlights:

For me, it was definitely learning about diagnostic criteria because I plan on being a clinical psychologist in the future. But really, the professor kept things interesting by showing us videos of patients with the different disorders living their day to day life and how the symptoms imapct their daily function.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study. Study the differences in diagnostic criteria and make sure to read carefully when comparing two different disorders. Just because they have similar symptoms and treatments does not make them equal.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class itself was pretty easy, but it was also interesting. Gallucci sort of just talks at you, but he does make jokes from time to time.

    Course highlights:

Personally, my favorite part was learning about mood disorders and how they differ in adolescents vs. adults.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the study guides! Most of the questions he asks on the tests are on the guides.
