Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
Not difficult, but there is a lot of work.
Course highlights:
I gained a better understanding of basic statistics in this class.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Stay on top of the work. If you procrastinate, you'll sink quicker than you could ever imagine.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
The class is challenging, but it shows where and why we use Numerical Linear Algebra in so much of our lives: from iterations and eigenvalues, to singular value decomposition and pixels, you'll learn so much in this class!
Course highlights:
I learned different types of methods in computation and why linear algebra was important. I think this class should be taken by every math major.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
You should know a little bit of computer programming coming into this course as you'll be required to code algorithms in MATLAB.
