    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course focuses on the student's ability to write essays based on reading assignment and share one's thoughts about said assignments. I didn't enjoy this course at all. It is exactly the same as all the English classes you take in high school. You'd think that means you know how to do everything, which you do, but it just feels like taking the same class for the hundredth time. Even though I wouldn't recommend this course, it is a requirement for anyone in the Arts and Sciences school, and probably others as well.

    Course highlights:

There was one essay we read that interested me by Susan Bordo entitled Beauty (Re)discovers the Male Body. It shows the flip side of objectification by talking about how men objectified, as evidenced by the title. I liked writing the essay we had after reading this and doing the other assignments associated with it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do all your readings and proofread all your essays. Talk to your professor if you need to for help and make sure you let your professor know if you won't be in class.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course specifically with Professor Mundari. You will discuss such meaningful topics that you will want to write about them.

    Course highlights:

I learned writing and composition skills as well as the dirty details about topics such as environmental protection and education reform. I also learned a little bit about how to be a good teacher.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Find passion in the topics and write what you think exactly how it would come out of your mouth in a discussion.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is not only challenging, but the professor teaches the class well.

    Course highlights:

I learned that I can be the best writer if I push myself past what I am capable of, and the highlights of the course were the revisions of the papers.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say to students, to be open minded.
