    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend the course, it is really important to take for biochemistry and the professor is amazing.

    Course highlights:

Mostly the classed was based on mechanism of different reactions such as EAS, SnAr, SnAc, etc. Synthesis was a main concept during the course as well.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not skip class, do all problem sets, DO NOT FALL BEHIND.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Bandik was an incredible professor who really knew the information and taught it in a manner that was easy to understand. He was also extremely personable; I still keep in touch with him to this day!

    Course highlights:

Organic Chemistry 2 was difficult however I learned how to study for a class that was only based off of tests. This was the first class I had like this and it was much different that classes that had quizzes and homework grades. It required doing a lot of practice problems and working with other people to solve difficult problems.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY HARD. It is a very difficult class but do not be afraid to ask the UTAs or other students for help. I found it very helpful to study with people.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was very challenging but doable if you put the time in. Class averages are less than 50% but are curved accordingly.

    Course highlights:

This class goes through the reactions and molecular tendencies for most of the functional groups in Chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study every single day. This class has a lot of material and you move very quickly so if you don't actively stay caught up, you will be left behind.
