    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Maryott is a tough professor, but she really knows her stuff. Her exams are difficult, so it's really important that you know all the information before going into the test. However, she offers so many extra credit opportunities. Plus, you can take the final exam if you want to replace your lowest exam score.

    Course highlights:

Maryott gave an incredible introduction to everything marketing-related. For some topics, it was a pretty broad overview. However, most of the information is extremely useful to all business majors, even if you're not studying marketing. Also, the simulation you do on a team offers some real world insight into controlling products, which was pretty cool.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, study! Exams are NOT easy. If you don't do well on an exam, see Maryott in office hours to review the test. The optional final exam is all repeated questions from previous exams, so you will really want to know where you went wrong on exam questions if you choose to take the final.
