    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Even though this class was really tough, I found that it was beneficial in that everything that was discussed could be useful in a person's life. With some classes like literature and some math classes, I feel that after the class is over, we never have to think about what we learned again, ultimately making the class close to pointless. However, with this Human Body course, we learned about bodily processes that occur in humans everyday. Now when someone breaks a bone, gets sick, etc., I can explain to them exactly what is happening in their body.

    Course highlights:

In this course, we went over the main themes of the human body systems such as the skeletal system, muscular system, nervous system, digestive system, and at least 7 more systems. We did not go into great detail with each system because the course was only for a semester, but we went over more general terminology and bodily processes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Attending all of the lectures is definitely really important as well as staying engaged during the entire class. My professor really stressed reading the chapter that was discussed before and after lecture which I found to be really helpful. Also, give yourself enough time when studying for the exam because there was a lot of material that needed to be reviewed prior to each exam.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor moved very quickly and was at times difficult to understand, but if you studied for the course you did well.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics of biology and interesting things about the human body that are more relevant to me than other aspects of biology.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read the correct chapter each week and highlight, take notes, and address anything that is confusing. This will really help to solidify what you've learned in lecture.
