Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course enlightens you on the construct and history of societies as well as how social norms came to be. Taking this course gives you an aerial view into society including your own and challenges you to think critically of everything you encounter.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the environment, the teacher, and the content. This class has a very comfortable environment where you say things aloud and not be judged as well as have deep conversations with classmates and the teacher. The professor Dr. Yearwood is a wonderful teacher who has a great sense of humor but also knows how to explain topics and teach you to not be biased.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is a must to get the required literature for the course as you are required to read outside of class. The tests are also mostly written and vocabulary based but require knowledge of the literature your supposed to read because the in-class PowerPoint slides are only brief descriptions and summaries of what your supposed to read.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a lot of work. Professor made the class harder than it needed to be. A lot of unnecessary work tbh.

    Course highlights:

I loved my recitation instructor. She honestly got me through the course. She's very helpful but expects you to participate in recitation.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

study as you go along, be prepared for trick questions on test, class is trash

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Tests were hard af and just way more challenging than needed It's a gen ed course so it really shouldn't be that hard to be honest. I did fine n the class but that is because she curved the first test by 20 points. That's wild af

    Course highlights:

The class is interesting as a whole. It's just hella reading and who has the time? I didn't so I didn't do it. I just made sure that I had the general theme of a reading before going into an exam. I learned about how society and culture affect how people form relationships.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course but don't take this professor. Don't do it fam. Trust me. It is an interesting class tho.
