    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Overall I felt as though Professor Maleckar did a wonderful job at presenting the information to the class and has a phenomenal understanding of the area of chemistry and the teaching of it.

    Course highlights:

This course teaches the curriculum of General Chemistry 1 (0110). However, from my experience I can say that while this is certainly true it seemed like we skipped over some important parts of the curriculum.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is definitely a great intro to the subject of chemistry. As for advice I'd say that students should definitely read through the example problems of the chapters, as they greatly help with the required homework and the tests.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was a great introduction to the college demand! I grew an appreciation towards this course due to its intensity and focus on the fundaments and principals of chemistry. This course helped me figure out what I would like to major in. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

    Course highlights:

This was a fantastic introduction to chemistry. The course included and was not limited to knowledge on significant figures, the formation and understanding of molecular and atomic models, the study of the periodic table, discussions on the atomic theory, properties of light and sound, matter, phase changes, Laws, and thermochemistry. Along with the education aspect, this course made me reevaluate my study skills along with my time management and prioritization.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

TAKE THE COURSE! This course is not only overly educational, but it is eye opening also. It teaches you materials and life lessons at the same time. I saw the most growth within myself as I tackled this class. Yes, it was VERY difficult but so worth it. Before taking the course, I didn't know accurate ways to prepare for exams. after this course, I have no worries. I learned a lot of study skills. Group work is your best friend. Your peers around you probably feel the same way and group sessions while allow other to help you on materials you may not feel confident about. Study groups are also fun. Overall, this was one of my favorite classes and I would highly recommend enrolling.
