    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    It was a very interesting class. It allows student to think and view both sides of important ethical medical issues. The instructor and TAs challenge you to think outside of the box. It is a class full of "what ifs" without clear cut answers, which normally I would hate, but I loved that the debate never ended. The nice thing about this class is it focused on the medicine behind the issues, not the legal or the political aspects of them. It is all based on writing. There were papers and the exams had a lot of short answer questions.

    Course highlights:

    This was a course that was extremely interesting and kept my attention through every lecture. It looked at the different ethical issues in medicine, such as abortion and euthanasia, and showed how its not as clear cut as most people may think. There are various medical implications that can arise from these ethical questions and can open up new questions and concerns.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Be ready to have no answers. It is not class where you walk away with just facts, but a way to approach arguments and view them critically. So be ready to think outside of the box and look at every "what if" situation.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Although this course was tedious, it was worth it! This course was one of the most interesting that I have taken. My professor was amazing and did a great job of allowing students to share their opinions with each other in a professional manor. I would highly recommend this course.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights of this course were the death/dying unit and the unit on eggs/human life. It was interesting to hear all of the opinions on what should be considered human life or not.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Read all of the material that the professor tells you to! It will help you understand the material so much better.
