    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is not for everyone but I would 100% recommend this class for any student considering medical or dental school. This course was extremely informative and helped me tremendously for when I was studying for the DAT. It is challenging but rewarding!

    Course highlights:

This class helped me understand the basics of Organic Chemistry. Lectures were very interesting because Professor Nelson always related the content to real-world settings (especially when discussing the synthesis of pharmaceutical drugs).

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Since homework is optional in this class, many students opt out of doing it. If you want to succeed, do the textbook homework! It is extremely helpful for exams. Be prepared to work hard in this class- it is tough but well worth it.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

While I stated that I have no strong feelings either way for this course, I will say this: I do not recommend this course unless it is part of your field of study. It was challenging at best and incredibly confusing at worst. This class is only for those prepared to put blood, sweat and tears into it in order to succeed.

    Course highlights:

I learned how important it is to approach studying for classes differently depending on the subject matter presented from this class. The way I approached studying math wouldn't pass for Organic Chemistry. And this applies for most classes. Learn how to approach studying a way that best suites the subject matter.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared, don't slack and except failure. You can put your all into it and end up failing, and that's okay. It's not the end of the world to be met with a low test grade. Just use it as learning and experience and correct what hurt you the first time through.
