Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

You learn about many classic american literature titles and reflect on them. I loved the teacher for this course and I felt that I could share anything with her, specifically my writing. The class was a key proponent into the reasoning why I wanted to start writing poetry again.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about how other people thought in different time periods. I also learned some new ways to write poetry. I also learned some life lessons due to some of the pieces we read in class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you take down some notes from the slideshows, and ask questions about things that you are confused about. Use your time wisely as well, once the deadline arrives, you will struggle if you didn't get that essay done before it.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course because it helps to prepare you for college, but is still available in the familiarity of your own school.

    Course highlights:

We have learned the basic skills of how to enhance our writing in order to better our uses of rhetorical function.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have a passion for English then you should highly consider taking this course. Even if you don't you will still learn a lot of information that you can use throughout your lifetime.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a college level English in high school. I recommend this greatly because it challenges you to write but prepares you for college.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to be a better writer through this course and the projects challenge you in a good way.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read! Read all the books and if they are difficult, use spark notes ONLY to help you understand the book. You will not know all the details to tests and quizzes without reading it. Do NOT cheat either.
