    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I love his teaching method, but the work load can sometimes be a bit heavy. The nice things is, if you are truly looking for a challenge, this class will help with that

    Course highlights:

I have never been a history person, but Mr. Trefry makes history interesting. I know so much more about the Civil War now.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to take this course, be sure you are ready for the commitment because it is not an easy A. Make sure to actually do the work because it really helps in the long run.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

History 111 with Mr. Trefry expects more out of the students than any of my other classes. In order to do well in this class, one must read the chapters from the book every night and stay focused in class to finish assignments prior to the due date.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was learning how human evolution and power has grown since the Virgina Colonies were established. I learned many different ideas and flaws that eventually led to the world we have today.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always stay on top of your work and take detailed notes in class. Often times group work is the best way to finish the homework and prepare for the test in order to organize and clarify all the information.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I loved this course! I went into the year, thinking I hated learning in History class settings, however, the way Mr. Trefry taught and got engaged with the lessons and students and made the class more personable, made me walk out that year with a whole new perspective on History classes, and now, it is one of my favorite subjects to study.

    Course highlights:

The holocaust was defiantly a time era, I enjoyed learning about. This was because in younger classes, teachers try to make it not so upsetting, but Trefry told us straight up and showed us how America came back from it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Expect a lot of homework and papers. However, it you will learn a lot and gain a new perspective on History in the United States.
