    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you want to be an accountant TAKE THIS CLASS. If you want to start your own business TAKE THIS CLASS. If you're a business major TAKE THIS CLASS. It is difficult but a great first look at accounting. Dr. Lippman is an impressive teacher and she is very energetic. Class is never boring.

    Course highlights:

The highlight was the Monopoly project. The term 'project' definitely applies as it takes effort. You do learn a lot from this project though regarding how to put together financial statements from scratch.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is a very tough class but no matter what type of business focus you decide on I think it is important to know the information you learn in this class. Do your homework. It is absolutely necessary and start early on the Monopoly project!
