    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would absolutely recommend taking Intro to Psychology with professor Karen Millsop. From the very beginning of the semester, she lets you know that what she will try throughout the class is to help you relate to the subjects. She is so interactive (even about the "awkward" topics) and she will truly help you out of your comfort zone and into a true immersive learning experience in every class you attend with her. By the end of the class, you truly will learn the basics of psychology and have enjoyed the journey in her class to get there.

    Course highlights:

I learned about theories, psychological issues, and treatments. What I learned that I'll never forget from that course is how much I learned about myself and those around me through this course. She makes an impact on her students and she knows it. A true highlight is being able to apply what I learned in class to my everyday life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, be present. I do not mean just attend class. I really mean be there in the moment, take in what the course is letting you know that may apply directly to you or indirectly to someone close to you. Immersing yourself in a subject may be difficult but find your interest and how it impacts you personally. If you do this, you'll get the full experience and learn so much about psychology and yourself along the way.
