Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was a very amazing class to take if you are interest in things like politics, sociology, family studies or things that effect everyday life. Going into this class I had really no clue what to expect and I just assumed we were going to pick a topic and write a paper on it. It was so much more reading than I anticipated, but the reading was super interesting in every section and my favorite topic to talk about was the roles that mothers take on, whether that is being a working or single mom. In this class you write a lot of papers, but I promise the teacher you have willl be on board with helping everyone and giving suggestions.

    Course highlights:

This course helped me work on my critical thinking. The main focus or focal point was centered on what your opinions about certain topics were that effected groups of people. It was really nice to be able to voice my opinion on things that I felt passionate about. Many of the topics were centered on policy issues in the world of policies and I enjoy how every conversations we had was centered around logic and not feeling.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

For IU Composition is really important that you stay on your A-game because you could get behind really easily and that is not wise because the teacher grades tough. Many of the papers were worth over 100 points or over 200 points, meaning if you slack on one paper this is going to rip down your grade. Another thing to consider is when you are writing papers is PAY ATTENTION to the format of your paper. It is important to be organize and make sure that your punctuation and grammar are correct or people will only focus on that and not what YOU think.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was actually a really good course. It was somewhat challenging, but ultimately it was very enjoyable.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write college-level essays. This included coming up with my own ideas and thoughts, and defending them. Overall, it taught me a lot more than I ever thought it could.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise anyone taking this course to not to stress about it too much. It is a really challenging course, but it lacks some of the enjoyment if you stress a lot about it.
