    Course Overview:

    This was a great course and I really got to learn a lot. Dr. Jack is very enthusiastic about the subject and takes care in making sure his students do well!

    Course highlights:

    I learned a great deal about prokaryotes specifically bacteria and how their biological functions are both similar and different than eukaryotes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Be prepared to learn a lot but be equally prepared to apply yourself.

    He uses multiple mediums to help you learn.

    Course Overview:

    The teachers enthusiasm was motivating and made the class fun.

    Course highlights:

    Learning about the microbiota that is to small to see with the human eye was interesting. Learning about the how antibiotics can be created from bacteria and the different types of good and bad bacteria was eye opening.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Go to class everyday and do the readings. The book is interesting to read and will greatly help your studies. Make study groups with fellow students to test each other on lecture questions.
