    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it because Daniel is a very understanding and accommodating teacher. The material is difficult but he understands and is more than willing to meet with you to talk about any concepts or assignments that you have trouble with. The last assignment is not necessarily a paper but a short film, comic book, a piece of music, etc. Basically, a creative work you choose to do on the topic you are given.

    Course highlights:

I learned not to be so fearful of writing and the writing process and that it requires time and many revisions so there's not too much pressure to churn out a stellar paper the first time you write it. Most of the time, you won't know what you're writing about even as you are writing it and you'll only understand as you progress towards the end of the paper and this is normal. All good writers experience this often.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Have an open mind and be willing to try things you haven't tried before. And definitely meet with the professor to go over the material because it is very difficult to comprehend.
