This class was tough.
Professor Aaron is one of the greatest professors I had during my college career. The field of neuroscience is fascinating but highly complex, and he manages to keep the class engaged while breaking down the nuances of neurobiology into simpler drawings and lessons. This class inspired me to major in neuroscience and keeps me engaged in learning about the brain.
A basic introduction to neurons, synapses, action potentials, and neurotransmitters. Neurobiology of the different sense systems, such as vision, taste, smell, hearing, and proprioception. We also learned about the neurobiology of brain pathology, such as Parkinson's or Alzheimers.

Advice for students:
Take notes by hand, because it is very helpful to draw out diagrams as the professor does. After class, redraw and review your notes because there is a lot of information to unpack.
