Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love this professor! she knows what she's talking about and loves what she teaches. she makes sure you know what will be important to write down and what you don't need to as well. if you need help all you have to do is ask; she will make time. Biology is hard when you are not good at remembering so a simple trick is to listen to what she has to say; she makes hard terms sound easy.

    Course highlights:

I hating high school biology so i was a bit hesitant with college level but guess what, Its actually easier with the right professor! I've learned many fantastic things about organisms and how they interact with each other; how each cell in one's body has its own organs and functions. i've learned how biology and ecology can be closely related. I think my favorite part of this course though is when you are working with chemistry terms to explain biology ones! its just fantastic how one science subject is so ingrained in another that one cannot be without the other.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

first and formost, make time for at least one study session and/or SI; you'd be surprised what one SI a week will do to your grade. My favorite study tip to anyone who asks is after each chapter relay what you've learned to a fellow peer, talk with them on anything you have trouble with, and see if what you know fits what they know. That way if you have different thought you can go to your professor or tutor or however with a specific piece of information that you need help clearing up.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was so interesting and I learned so much. It helped me understand the body more, considering my major is Nursing. If you are considering going into a health care field, I would highly recommend this class, for it will help you as you further your education in this field. The teacher is strict and expects a lot out of you, but it helped me prepare for future classes and health care occupations.

    Course highlights:

One of the many highlights of this class was when we visited the cadaver lab. It was another studying tool that helped me see the real structure of a body. I learned so much about the body's structure, why we do things the way we do, and what body mechanics allow us to perform all tasks.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are not dedicated or interested in this subject of study, this class will be very difficult for you. Study as much as the instructor tells you to and and actually learn the material, not just memorize it. It is a very rewarding class, but you have to put in a lot of work and effort to receive anything back.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It went over the coarse material very well and the professor help me in understanding it.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the human ecology section because it directly tired to my life and my everyday actions. I learned that what I do everyday matters in conserving, and using resources and making sure there is enough for everybody.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely take it you will learn a lot that you can directly apply to your life and your major.
