    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I found there was a lot of support in the school system for students, especially females, in the computer field. There are many opportunities for tutoring, and the student body is friendly. Just be sure not to miss an assignment. Your next assignment will be based off of the learned skills from your previous assignment, so if you miss one, catching up is hard to do.

    Course highlights:

Learning about coding opened my eyes to a world of understanding. It gives a glimpse behind the curtains so you understand how simple things like calculators are made. Understanding how to make programs used in daily life is exhilarating!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to every class and get every assignment. Your class progresses off of what you learn in your assignments, so if you fall behind it is hard to catch up. Feel free to ask questions, there are a lot of people who know how to help you, and many websites with tutorials that can assist as well.
