    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Carrie was a great professor, with lots of funny stories to share everyday. Some classes seemed to drag on, especially since it was an introductory course, and we had to cover the basics of English and writing for some students. If you don't like class participation, this isn't the teacher for you.

    Course highlights:

I really didn't learn anything, but I had a lot of fun! It was an easy A, and a nice break from my other courses. You write a lot of essays and that was good practice for the future!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared for the essays! Don't put the off; write them early so you can move on.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a required course for college, but it has been so far the most challenging one I've taken. Having always succeeded in English, it gave me a reality check and challenged me to be more than I've ever been.

    Course highlights:

Definitely the papers. I've always written in first person, and this course had me mostly write in third, which was highly difficult. But now, I came out of that class with an ability that I didn't have before.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen to the professor, they can help a lot if you just try. Ask questions, because if you're confused, then you're going to end up doing something wrong. But the most important thing is to breathe, because your work could suffer if you're stressing too much.
