    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend Honors Biology over regular level biology, because in Honors the students get to dive deeper into the subject matter, which allows them to not only understand the concepts, but know why the concepts are what they are.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this class were learning about cellular respiration and photosynthesis. Since both of these subjects are super important to life itself it is very rewarding to understand them, and thus understand life a little better.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Try and remember that what you are learning can actually be helpful to you someday. It can be hard to stay interested in a course when one does not know if it will ever be useful.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course allows you to learn all about how the cells work and function under various circumstances. It helps to show how the body works and functions. You learn about cycles the body undergoes to get rid of disease and fight them off. It's absolutely amazing to know this stuff especially if your future career is very based on science.

    Course highlights:

You learned all about how the body functions in not only humans but mostly animals. You learn about photosynthesis and how it occurs. You learn about mitosis, meiosis, and many other cycles the body undergoes. I learned truly how the body works in both humans and animals. I also learned about life processes that will occur as well.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to study study study!!! Make sure you are always reviewing the vocabulary and any new terms. There's a lot to remember but after a while you'll know it inside out. Don't skim through readings EVER! Always read through them and make sure you understand it. Take down good, detailed notes to help you study. Make diagrams/pictures of things; they helped me a lot.
